Film Interlude

A roll back from the Chaika half frame solid little Soviet 70s camera. The film is Lomochrome ’92 which has indeed as promised given everything a kind of elegiac golden summer glow. I don’t know why it is that film just makes me so much happier than digital but there is no denying that it does. Huge thanks yet again to the good people at The Shutterbug. I stopped by in person and it does in fact seem that someone has defrosted the film hipsters from 2010; they have not aged and it’s a bit uncanny. 😀 Anyway the clerk was concerned that I wanted the diptychs from the half frame and I was like, no, no, I know that you make the decisions and I trust you! And the random is part of the process and the joy. So here, summer in a roll of film.
